Link Support Group
A Self Help Group Linking Those Undergoing Fertility Treatment for Mutual Support and To Share Information
Link Support Group is run by patients for patients. Wherever you’re up to, waiting for treatment, undergoing treatment, or just considering what to do next, come along to one of our regular meetings.
The isolation that you may be feeling because of your infertility is common. Infertility is a very personal condition, which you may find difficult to discuss with those around you. The Group helps by allowing you to meet other people in the same situation. Remember, you are not alone!
Our meetings are friendly
and informal. We meet to talk with each
other and we invite speakers who can give us more information about
infertility. This could be one of the
consultants who may speak about certain aspects of fertility treatment. We also
invite speakers to talk about alternatives to treatment that we may be
considering, such as adoption. We also
invite alternative therapists who can offer ways of supporting ourselves
before, during or after treatment.
We meet every second
Wednesday of every other month at 6.00pm at The Hewitt Centre for Reproductive
medicine – seminar room.
Dates for 2011
05 January - 09 March - 11 May - 13 July - 14 September - 09 November
