North West Fertility provides a unique service for people experiencing fertility problems that combines the best features of NHS and private treatment in one convenient, high quality package of care. The concept was created by a group of acknowledged experts in their field in response to increasing demand for self-funded infertility treatment and offers individualised services by caring, experienced professionals.
North West Fertility provides a comprehensive range of fertility investigations and a treatment programme delivered by senior consultant Gynaecologists with extensive NHS reproductive medicine experience.
The partnership with Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust offers the reassurance of full back-up services at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, one of the UK’s leading maternity and Neonatal units and renowned NHS Centre of Excellence in Gynaecology and Genetics services.
Our central unit is at the Hewitt Centre in Liverpool Women’s Hospital but North West Fertility also offers fertility services at The Countess of Chester Hospital in Chester, Leighton Hospital in Crewe and The Lindens Medical Centre in Altrincham, Manchester. A transport or satellite service is operated between these centres and the Hewitt Centre which enables patients to receive the majority of their treatment nearer to home before transferring to the Hewitt Centre for embryo transfer, or egg collection and embryo transfer.
Our service offers the reassurance of nationally recognised badges of quality including certification by ISO and the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority and is Healthcare Commission approved, all within a Foundation Trust Hospital setting.
